My Thanksgiving menu:
- roasted turkey
- creamy mashed potatoes
- turkey gravy
- stuffing
- corn
- veggie/relish tray
- apple cranberry fruit salad
- fresh cranberry relish
- squash dinner rolls
- maple pecan sticky buns
- egg nog and chocolate milk to drink
Recipe for dinner rolls and sticky buns - the yellow squash gives it a pretty color, but no one will ever know it's in there.
If I am feeling energetic and creative, I may have fun with the food. We'll see. We just got home yesterday from 8 days of living off-grid, and I'm pretty tired. I just want to watch a movie, curl up under my electric blanket, sip tea, and eat food that I don't have to cook. Today was my recovery day, so hopefully I'll feel a little more energetic tomorrow.
May you and your family be blessed this Thanksgiving. ♥

Ooh, your menu sounds so yummy, and squash bread sounds interesting. Thanks for visiting and commenting! I hope you have a happy thanksgiving too! Hope you have lots of energy after resting!
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteMaple pecan sticky buns! That sounds YUMMY! I have made butternut squash muffins but never rolls. They sound good too; thanks for the recipe. I love my electric blanket and find it quite difficult to get out from under it and cook; especially if I'm snuggled up with a good book or movie. Hopefully you'll have plenty of energy for cooking tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteI'm hungry now for Maple Pecan Sticky Buns! Have a blessed Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteOh My! How fun would it be to share the load and have Thanksgiving dinner together!? I let each of my boys choose something they really wanted for dinner and we prepared it together today. Cranberry bread, pumpkin cake, and spicy sweet potatoes with marshmallows.
