Matthew 6:19-21

“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.


Matthew 13:44 

“The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and covered up. Then in his joy he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.


Matthew 19:21

Jesus said to him, “If you would be perfect, go, sell what you possess and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.”


Luke 12:33

Sell your possessions, and give to the needy. Provide yourselves with moneybags that do not grow old, with a treasure in the heavens that does not fail, where no thief approaches and no moth destroys.


Proverbs 2:4-5

If you seek it like silver and search for it as for hidden treasures, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God.


1 Timothy 6:17-19

Healthy Coconut and Chocolate Chip Layer Bars 



Healthy Coconut and Chocolate Chip Layer Bars Recipe:

Line an 8 x 8 pan with parchment paper. 

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.  
 
Make a cookie base: 
3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened 
2 tablespoons of coconut sugar 
1 egg yolk 
1 teaspoon of vanilla 
1/4 teaspoon of fine Celtic salt 
1 1/2 cups of whole wheat flour (I used fresh ground hard white wheat)  

Beat the butter, sugar, egg yolk, vanilla, and salt until well blended. Add the flour and combine until moistened and crumbs form. Press the crumbs into the prepared pan and bake for 25 minutes until the crust is light brown and set.  

Add the topping: 
1 cup organic coconut chips, toasted
1/2 cup toasted and salted organic hazelnuts chopped
1/2 cup toasted and salted organic almonds, chopped  
1/2 cup organic, bitter chocolate chips  

Mix or layer the topping ingredients and place them on the cookie crust. Lightly press the topping and spread one can of Rich Dark Sweetened Condensed Milk over the top. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until lightly browned.
