My favorite genres are drama/romance, comedy/family, comedy/romance, and feel good.

I like Tom Hanks/Meg Ryan and many other movies they star in, but the first two are my favorites.

I like old movies.

I like mystery. (I grew up reading Nancy Drew and listening to Alfred Hitchcock and The Green Hornet radio theatre).

I like adventure, but not "action" movies.

I do not like horror or science fiction movies.

What are your favorite movies? Do you have a favorite movie you think I might like?

How about a favorite movie or series on Netflix? I will need something to watch after I'm done binge watching Gilmore Girls and while waiting for the next season of When Calls the Heart to come out. :)

If you like old movies one of our family favorites is "The One and Only, Genuine, Original Family Band", we also like "The Happiest Millionaire". "Cranford" is a good drama, comedy, romance all mixed together. :)

Oh I love The Sound of Music! Such a great movie. If you haven't seen Parenthood, you will enjoy that after Gilmore Girls. I haven't seen these but a lot of die hard Gilmore fans also recommend Hart of Dixie and Bunheads after watching the show.
