Nathan, our dear son pictured here buried in leaves, is turning 10! Nathan is spirited, spunky and fun to be around! Since we feel that a birth is symbolic of the growth of our family, the celebration of that birth is focused on the whole family. So, we all enjoyed a special day together and went on a miniature "Roodabumps," also known as a "Babybump." These are terms coined by my husband, by the way. On a Roodabump, we are all given an allotment of money and we decide as a family, where we will go and what we will do. Then we each have to budget our money on the trip. This has taught my children to really think about how they spend their money and what is important! And it is fun!
Nathan, we are blessed to have you in our family! To all my children, we are blessed to have you in our family, too! We wouldn't be the same without you!
Nathan is indeed a blessing to be around. He is a sweet boy who is constantly thinking of others and a treasure to our family. I am amazed at his dedication and responsible behavior. Great post!
