Day Book Entry: Spring is here!

FOR TODAY

Aviv New Moon Sighted from Israel on March 17, 2010! L'Shana Tovah! Happy new year!

Outside my window...

Praising Father for such a beautiful, warm, and sunny day today!

I am thinking...

About all the things I want to do. And how much I needed this sunny day to lift my spirit this week!

I am thankful for...

So very thankful that Spring is here!

From the learning rooms...

Planning, ordering, printing, cutting, organizing and so very happy to finally have a plan for my little ones for school. Oh, and I am officially declaring this a pre-Spring break week!

From the kitchen...

Planning a special dinner and family night to celebrate the Biblical New Year. And testing my first batch of successful home brew (kombucha)! It is bubbly, fizzy, and oh, so good! (I'll share soon).

I am wearing...

My favorite dark blue jeans (fitting a little loosely), a white cotton shirt and a dark blue bandanna.

I am creating...

Lesson plans for the little ones and organizing them into file folders to just pull out and use.

I am going...

to put in my order at Rainbow Resource and Azure Standard (food co-op).

I am reading...

how many exclamation points I have used in this post. (blush)

I am hoping...

that I can make it to the Health Food Store (just remembered that they are open today).

I am hearing...

singing.

Around the house...

My kitchen is clean! Still piles of books on my desk . . .

One of my favorite things...

Spring.

A few plans for the rest of the week:

We might make a trip to our homestead in MT this weekend. This weather is not supposed to hold, so it may have to wait. I'd like to tackle another corner in my house (Spring cleaning for Passover), and try to use up some of the leaven in this house so I don't have to throw it away. I'd also like to make 100% Sprouted Wheat Bread for Sabbath.

Here is picture for thought I am sharing...
