Hebrew Lesson 5 - Family Tree

We made a family tree with names of family members. Here are the vocabulary words we learned: eemah - mother ahbah - fatherben - son baht - daughter ach - brother achot - sister savta - grandmother saba - grandfather dohdah - aunt dohd - uncle baht dohdah - cousin (daughter of an aunt) ben dohd (son of an uncle) We practiced saying, "Mee ahtah?" ("Who are you?" to a male) and "Mee aht?" ("Who are you?" to a female). We got roars of laughter when a boy said, "Ani baht" or "Ani achot" and the others guessed who they were. Can you guess why?
