Household Traditions Glass and Surface Cleaner Review

Eliana loves to help around the house and is always asking me for a job to do. Often I have her help with whatever I am doing, but sometimes it is nice for her to have her own job.

Here is my solution.

Household Traditions Glass and Surface Cleaner
  • No ammonia, alcohol or harsh volatile solvents
  • 0% VOC (Volatile organic Compounds)
  • No rinsing required
  • Non-streaking
  • No fragrance or dye added
It is natural and safe, so I can let her do this "big girl" job with peace of mind.

I gave her a tray with the spray bottle, paper towels, newspaper and terry cloth rags and let her clean the windows that she can reach.

I could not do this with an ordinary cleaner! {even so called "natural" ones}. And of course, she loved helping out {a little too much with the spraying part}. :-)

I was sick all last week, so I also used the cleaner to wash doorknobs, light switches, etc. as well as mirrors and countertops. Works wonderfully!  As soon as the nesting instinct kicks in,  I will be using this all over the house.

I can even use it on my computer and computer screen ~ no more expensive laptop wipes. I just spray on a cloth and wipe and it works beautifully. Since it is safe to use on my computer, I also used it to wipe off the outside of my camera.

I believe in using natural cleaners for health and safety. Mostly I use baking soda and vinegar for just about any and everything ~ even to wash my hair! I keep a spray bottle of vinegar to clean and disinfect surfaces and use the baking soda as a scrub for the sinks, to deodorize and more.

However, I think I am the only one who doesn't mind the smell of vinegar!

So I think a few of us were happy to have me review Tropical Traditions Glass and Surface Cleaner ~ and may even be more willing to help me clean.  :-)

  20. I would REALLY like to try to All Purpose Cleaner. I have been making my own cleaner (with vinegar, borax, and castile soap) for awhile. But, I haven't been totally happy with it. I periodically have to whip out the 409...especially when I run out of my homemade cleaner and don't make the time to make more. I would really like to have something that is non-toxic that I don't have to make. One less thing on my "to do" list is always a bonus!!! LOL

  21. I would love to win this! My husband doesn't care much for the smell of vinegar...though I have been able to mask the smell a bit with a few drops of Dr. Bronner's castile soap.

  28. The 'All Purpose Cleaner' IS THE BEST! I have a three year old, an 18 year old (both boys) and a husband. Between working on cars, playing outside, potty training and 'trying to help mom', I find that the 'All Purpose Cleaner' IS THE BEST! We are not talking about just the messes left on floors, walls or sinks either! The clothes, hands and what ever comes in contact with 'GACK' (my word, pls use!) gets clean! I have some pretty bad allergies as does the little one. I found that other cleaners left me reaching for an antihistamine after doing anything. It made for unpleasant days. This is something I can use and feel safe with and know that my family is safe too! Unbelievable cleaner!

  29. The dish liquid like all the other products is fantastic! It takes care of grease immediately and leaves them squeaky clean and your hands to get dry using it!

  30. I would love to be entered in this givaway. We have four little ones who love to help out but so many cleaners are so dangerous to use so they clean with water and I follow.
