Here is one of my favorite twists on grilling chicken in the summer:
Hot Wings!

What you do:
- Grill your chicken wings (chicken legs are great too!)
- Add a large bottle of Frank's Red Hot Original Cayenne Pepper Sauce and 1-2 sticks of butter (one for a smaller bottle) to your crockpot
- Add cayenne pepper to taste
- Add wings and let heat until ready to eat or dip wings fresh off the grill into hot wing sauce
- Serve with celery sticks, carrots, ranch or blue-cheese dressing
- Enjoy!
This is a recipe from when I was a cook at a bar and grill in my early twenties. I used to make a batch to take home with me when I was pregnant with my 1st. I loved them despite the heartburn they gave me. Now, we all love the tangy spicy zip! I especially love that I get a day off from cooking!
Sounds delicious!
ReplyDeleteHot wings were my big craving when I was pregnant with my first as well. I even ate them when I was in early labor. (She's 8 now, and still likes spicy food)
We love hot wings and boneless wings at our house. I never liked them until I met my husband. He convinced me to eat just one whenever we'd be at a resturant, and now I'm totally addicted!
ReplyDeleteI love grilled and BBQ chicken. This recipe sounds like a winner.
ReplyDeleteHave a Happy July 4th!
