Your blog posts uplift me so much! We started a morning basket this school year and it has been a wonderful change. We read/discuss for about 1 to 1.5 hours each morning and it sets the day right. My almost ten year old (this week!) says that it is his favorite part of school each day.
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you! ♥
ReplyDeleteNatalie, I'm so happy to hear you love morning basket. I've loved the idea of it, but I wasn't sure if I would be consistent with it. I'm ready for a change though, and excited to try. :)
So many lovely thoughts and experiences all wrapped up in one <3 I love that Eliana was so happy with her special day :) A rag curler tradition - what fun!
ReplyDeleteI would love to see how you implement the basket (if you choose to do it, and share it here). I love the idea too, but I haven't been able to get it down. I was thinking today that maybe I need to make it a morning bag instead. Happy Birthday to your daughter!
ReplyDeleteHi! I just found you, and subscribed immediately!! Thank you for posting so much and sharing for free!! What a blessing :0) We are just starting a project on Australia, and I didn't know where to start! God bless you and yours :0)

Thank you, Tara. ♥
ReplyDeleteDesiree, I love the idea of using a bag! I've been listening to the Your Morning Basket podcast, and they most often refer to it as simply Morning Time - I like that, except that for us, it might sometimes be afternoon time. :) I'll be sure to share how it goes!
Hi Joanie! Nice to meet you! ♥
