We Shell Sea

I do not hope to abandon this blog, but I am looking forward to a fresh start. I'm not really sure what that will look like, but we shell sea!

  1. This makes me so happy!! I was going through some things on my desk/computer and came upon a memory of this blog. I always looked forward to reading anything that you wrote. I decided to look to see if you by chance were still blogging...and I see this post. :) Please write. How is your family? Are you still homeschooling and what are you using? What kinds of activities are you doing? What books do you read for you? I can't wait to see the next post. You have always been an inspiration by just being you. Thanks and Blessings - Christine

    2. How are we... We are a beautiful work-in-progress, currently living in Oregon.

Yes, we're still homeschooling and we're using the Charlotte Mason method exclusively.

We are collecting wildflowers; making lists; describing and drawing walks and views; brisk work–"with ample leisure and freedom" is the rule; gardening; riding the 4-wheeler and dirt bikes; swinging and swimming at the reservoir; writing; drawing; watercoloring; sewing, milling, feeding starters; learning piano; training May-Lily, the dog; rescuing wild kittens; gratitude journaling; and living a quiet, rural life.

I am currently reading the Bible; the works of Hannah Hurnard; some of the works of Arthur Pink; the works of Elizabeth Prentiss; and of course, the works of Charlotte Mason.

I originally published this in my last post but my comments are working now, so I hope you see this. :) Thank you again for asking! <3

  2. Oh, that's lovely news! I came across your blog because of Malachi (I met him and Elli through YWW and CWW) and was sorry to see you had stopped for a while; you have so many wonderful bits of wisdom to share. Please keep writing when you find the time and inspiration to do so ❤

  3. Dear Morah Michelle,
I have always loved your blog! You were a big part of the reason why I made a vow to Yah that I will homeschool my children someday. I am currently marathon-reading your blog chronologically for the third time and this time I want to read all the books you mention in your posts. I even have Goodreads shelves for Malachi's, Eliana's, and Boaz's books. Keep blogging!

    1. Hello Serena, I haven't read my blog chronologically through ~ that's pretty amazing. So many things have changed since I started blogging that I pray the Holy Spirit will guide you to use what will only be helpful to you and honoring to Yah. :-)
