Project 52 {Week 5}

Our life.

One week at a time.

Twenty Twelve.

Week 5.

This week. . .

I am. . .

  • baking: Abby's No-Fail Whole Wheat Bread and Graham Crackers

  • making: homemade marshmallows (for next week) and homemade kettle corn (with salt).

  • going: on a date with Luke and to the Y to photograph activities, grocery store and craft store

  • taking: boys to dentist for cleaning and sealants

  • hearing: Luke leave with Jordan @ 6:15am 2x week (high school soccer)

  • drinking: lots of water and cranberry juice for a UTI

  • reading: the Bible in 52 weeks (fitting since I'm doing Project 52. I'm starting late so doing some extra reading to catch up.)

  • studying: the book of Ephesians with some girls online

  • capturing: evidence of play around the house

  • thinking: about a school album

  • playing: chess

  • saving: a clipping from the newspaper of Luke (I put this in week 4's layout).

  • comforting: a teething baby Boaz

  • teaching: week 22 in My Father's World curriculum - Diaspora and Ancient China.

I have so many pics, I am just going to share my layouts this week. I have 3 two-page spreads! (How did this week get so full?!)  I'll let the journaling cards in the pics mostly tell our story, too, so you'll have to read the cards if you want details. ;)

Project Life Layouts:

Our lunch date. :)

Mmmm. So good.

Abby's Wheat Bread (Malachi is showing me how big of a piece he wants) and Graham Crackers (I burnt mine).

I didn't burn them all ~ just keeping it real. :)

Capturing evidence of play ~ from the bookshelf to the bathroom sink.

Can you see the red bump on his forehead? Tough little guy.

K/1 Y Basketball

For the record, he is not picking his nose, LOL. He is pointing to his nose for a listening drill - like Simon Says.

Y Volleyball - Grandparent Invite Night (which means cookies and juice and that is where you will find Dylan).

Luke and Jordan took turns holding Bo so I could take pics of Malachi.

Um, yeah, Dylan is the only one not wearing his V-ball shirt and no it isn't even the same color, LOL.

Jordan refereeing a volleyball game.

Project Life details:

I'm using Turquoise Edition. This week I decided to print my journaling cards and I love how clean it looks.   Also pulled Design B from my stash. I love the versatility of this design, especially with a vertical collage of 2 horizontal pics. Love it because I'm in the habit of taking horizontal pics for the original Project Life (Design A).  I'm getting low on pages (more on that in Week 6!) so I ordered Design F - which means I will need to take more vertical photos until the other designs are in stock! I've never stalked Amazon this much, LOL!
