This week. . .
- Dylan turned 12 and for his special dinner we had BBQ hamburgers and hot dogs, baked beans, chips, pickles, and watermelon. Afterwards we made s'mores. He also picked out a lemon meringue pie for dessert, but wished later that he had gotten a Reese's peanut butter pie instead!
- We finished Week 2 Core A and did butterfly activities for The Salamander Room (so glad that we are getting a head start on our year! But, it also gives us something fun to do! Our summers are very lazy!)
- The boys had YMCA Soccer Camp
- Jordan sold his Dodge (in 2 days!) and took me to meet his new "love" and asked for my blessing to propose, lol! (A '95 Ford Powerstroke). He also paid off the balance that he owed us ($2000), and has enough money to buy the Powerstroke. So very proud of him!
- We had a BBQ at Green Acres and the kids rode a 4-wheeler. (Jordan has been working with Bryan out there all week, working on the Powerstoke, and wanted us to see it. He is learning so much! Jordan also fixed the clanking noise on the Suburban - a metal piece came loose in the brake drum - so thankful!)
