To answer a couple of your questions: I am 9 weeks 4 days based on my LMP which makes me due 12/22 plus or minus 2 weeks. (I usually go 5-7 days early).
I have already started my pregnancy journal offline and am debating on how much I should share online or whether I should start a private blog for sharing. We are planning an unassisted pregnancy/unassisted childbirth (up/uc) and I only need love and support every step of the way.
I have been feeling very, very tired. I have to laugh because I got an email this past week asking me how I do what I do. . . and truth be told - I can't anymore! I have been trying to pull together a lesson for B4FIAR for 2 weeks. I was not planning on rowing this particular book because it was out of print and then it (My Blue Boat) came in through ILL, so I was not prepared for it - no file folder to pull out and little energy to do anything. And I can't find my manual. I have read the book with the little ones on the couch and talked about the story with them, but beyond that little is happening around here. I don't even feel like being online much. I am just so glad that we are on summer break!
Thanks for the update! The most important thing is that you take care of yourself and the baby!!
ReplyDeleteVery well wrote Chel, and you explained things wonderfully. Yes take care of your self, I am here!
ReplyDeleteI am in awe of your unassisted plans, congrats to you and I am sure you will have an amazing journey. Very inspiring!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the WP feedback too. I had WP blog a while back but blogger is just so simple. I like your idea of printing and I guess if you saved everything a few times a year then at least you know you've got it.
I totally hear you on the early pregnancy exhaustion. I'm 13 weeks 4 days and finishing up a bout of the flu, which has made for a rough week, but we're getting there. I've made it out of first trimester far faster than I thought, though the morning sickness seems to be hanging around.
ReplyDeleteNo unassisted for me, but my body doesn't do labor. As in, for 5 births, I've had to have pitocin so my body will sustain contractions, even after my water breaks I simply don't have contractions. Oh well, God knows best and so I have a wonderful midwife and we just pray through it. ;) Praying you will have an uneventful pregnancy and delivery!
Hi there! Congratulations on the pregnancy. One question...how old are you little ones that you are using Before Five In A Row with? The only con about it I have heard is that it and a lot of the books it uses are very old. Do you happen to know of anything similar that is a little more up to date? Is there anything else you can tell me about it? Thanks a bunch...I have a 3 year old (turned 3 in Feb) that I was thinking of starting it or something like that with.
ReplyDeleteMichelle, you know you have nothing but support, encouragement and prayers from me. Rest (yeah, right) and take care of you and your family first!! You are such an inspiration and again, I am just SO happy for you.
ReplyDeletecongrats on your pregnancy! I saw you were back at CUC so I looked you up! - Tiff
ReplyDeleteMichelle- I am so thrilled for you. Pregnancy is a learning time for the entire family from Yah. It's a precious, beautiful process and it would bless me if you shared and we could encourage you throughout. We HB but have never thought of UC. That is going to be amazing! Looking forward to the journey with you! Many prayers!! Rest, snuggle up, read and love on those babies while they minister to you as well...
ReplyDeleteShalom!!
