Project 52 {Week 25} My Life is...

August 26th - September 1

This week. . .

Our first week back to school. . .

My life is. . . getting ready for our first day of school:

Homemade Chocolate Chip waffles, bagged up and ready to pop in the toaster in the morning.

From my kitchen.

Makes about 15 medium pancakes or waffles. Make up several batches for a quick, easy breakfast (or dinner!).

Chocolate Chip Pancake Mix

Dry Mix:

2 c. flour
1/4 c. raw or natural sugar
2 T. baking powder
1 t. sea salt
1/4 c. whole powdered egg
1/2 c. dry milk (instant or non-instant)
1/2 c. miniature chocolate chips (optional)

Liquid:

2 1/4 c. water (and 1/4 c. more for thinner pancakes or waffles)
1/4 c. oil

Add liquid to dry mix and stir until moistened. Cook on a hot griddle or waffle iron. Serve with your favorite toppings. Ideas: fresh fruit, whipped cream, honey butter syrup, maple syrup, or butter and powdered sugar.

Some realness: My life is. . . laundry.

Clothes and linens that have been newly washed and piled up (by me) . . . and folded by my husband!

Thank you, honey! ♥

My life is. . . breastfeeding:

When I had that photo taken, I had no idea that this may be my last time nursing little Bo — he just felt so good in my arms and I wanted to remember the way I felt — forever. I am not emotionally ready to wean him, but physically I need to. I need to have 2 amalgam fillings removed and do a heavy metal detox to remove metals that are adversely affecting my health. The metals are being stored in my pituitary and are wreaking havoc on my endocrine system and I need to do this to feel better — so I can serve my whole family, including little Boaz, better.

But I will miss this so much it hurts.
