Day Book 3/2/09

FOR TODAY ~Day 5 of the 12th month of the Biblical calendar~

Outside my window...

we had a heat wave today! I heard 67 and 70 degrees. I just know it was a perfect day!

I am thinking...

that I can't believe we are already 2 days into a new week!

I am thankful for...

a clean and organized pantry (Thanks, Andi!), for my mother-in-law who is so creative and a blessing to our family, and for like-minded friends who are obedient to Torah.

From the learning rooms...

rubber cement, file folders, colored glue, apples, rainbows, honeybees, books stacked in piles on the table ready to be put away.

From the kitchen...

homemade yogurt culturing and whole organic corn ready to be parched.

I am wearing...

jeans and a blue striped long jane styled shirt (I forget what they are called).

I am creating...

a lapbook for Tot School

I am going...

to go see my friend, Jaci, and hold her new baby boy for the first time!

I am reading...

Exodus and Psalms

I am hoping...

for a something special, but can't say. :-)

I am hearing...

Jim Staley teach on The Chosen People - Discovering the True People of God and it reminds me of our trip to KY and the wonderful people we met along the way.

Around the house...

all the children are sleeping and Luke is on the other computer looking at gun safes.

One of my favorite things...

the Spirit of YHVH resting on me and filling me with His presence.

A few plans for the rest of the week:

Begin working on a Passover lapbook that is Biblical (ie what God says to do, not what man has added), finish the lapbooks I have started for my Totschooler and Preschooler,  organize my school room and think about ordering the new school books/tools we will need.

Here is picture thought I am sharing...

Organizing my kitchen and a cute cookie jar my mother-in-law made for us. She is "Grandma Sugar's Cookie Shop" and she even takes orders and leaves a cute receipt for payment rendered (hugs and kisses from grandkids). :-)
