Homeschool Highlights

I've lost track of the day we are on. If we had not taken a spring break, we would have been at our 180 day mark today. I am guessing we have 2 or 3 more weeks of school, so we are plugging away with our usual and the end is in sight. The kids completed 9 weeks of swimming lessons/swim camp . . .

Elli passed level one and moves on to level two with Mali.

Nathan and Dylan both passed level four and graduated the program.

. . . and we are hanging up our goggles for Spring Soccer. All the boys are playing this year and Malachi is playing for his first time. He had his first game last night and he was so cute. He ran as fast as he could after the ball and was such a good sport. He is just happy to finally be on the field after years of watching his brothers play. I didn't get any great pictures ~ I was watching 2 games (Mali and Jordan's) and keeping an eye on Eliana on the playground. This is a busy time of the year for our whole family. My husband works 12-14 hour days and dinners are at irregular times; the boys are either playing in games or refereeing them, or running the concession stand, but we know this is literally a "season" in our life. I am starting to feel better and have more energy to get up and go and the timing of this is amazing ~ I'm going to need a lot of get up and go to get me though this season. I may share more in a future private post (if you see a private post that is password protected, please email me for the password if you are a friend, a regular commenter on my blog or an email friend). We had a great week with our beloved B4FIAR, too, and I will share about that soon.
