A Random Collection of Little Sayings

This is just a little collection of things that I have heard out of the mouth of my youngest two over the last 6 months. I add to it whenever I remember, so this is a very random collection that I am posting just so I will remember them!

**********

Mali:When I grow up and be a dad, I want to have 6 kids.

**********
Elli has been telling me that she wants to be a mama when she grows up. She will be a good one too. She loves her babies.

Lately, she has told me that she has a baby in her tummy.

She always tells me she loves me twice. She will say, "I love you Mommy." I say, "I love you Elli." She then says, I love you too. :-)

***********

Mali comes up to me, wraps his arms around me and emphatically says, "I REALLY love you!" Warms my heart.

***********
The other night, I heard Malachi trying to convince his dad that he needs to marry so-and-so's mommy (I'll leave out the name to protect the innocent). The conversation was quite comical between he and his dad. Finally, Malachi made his point. He wanted to marry Mommy. Awhile ago, he told me that he wanted to marry me and I told him that I was already married to his daddy. So, he was trying to convince Luke that he needed to marry someone else so he could marry me. So cute! {This was several months ago.}

I love his smile and his bright eyes.

Today, while at Home Depot, he told me he needed a pack of batteries. {"What for?" I say.} For my GPS. {You don't have a GPS} I will when I become a dad. {lol, I will buy you batteries then when you become a dad}

Tonight, he told me again that he wanted to be a dad. So, I talked to him about what kind of girl he should marry (someone who loves YHVH). He looks at me real seriously and says, "you do! I can marry you when Pop dies." {lol, I then explained why that was not possible and let's hope that doesn't happen!}

He still wants 6 kids. I asked him what he was going to do with them and he said teach them like my dad teaches me. :-)

He also told me tonight that when he "grows up and 'bes' a dad" he is going to be a good dad (he then proceeded to tell me all the things that he would do and they all involved making sure they behave).

************
Eliana slipped out of the tub, flipped, hit her head on the dresser, and landed on her bottom. She let out a short cry as she landed. She sighed as if to say,"phew" and said "that was a good one." {She did have a good bruise for awhile, poor thing}

**********

Elli told me that she has a little sister. (She is my youngest).
"Oh?" I say. "Where?"
"Down in my heart," she says.
{So sweet!}

**********

Today as we rode past the creek we heard ducks quacking. Elli said, "Mommy! Do you hear the rubber duckies?" (I couldn't help but chuckle).

*********

Elli loves to twirl in a dress.

Elli gave me a big hug today and said, "Now that's what I'm talking about." :-)

********

Elli has been telling me lately that I am her best friend. . . and Pop, and Jordan, and Dylan and Nathan and Mali. . . :-) {Good, I say, we should be best friends, we are family!}

As Jordan used to say when he was little, "I love my kids." :-)
