Day Book

For Today . . . 2/23/09

Outside my window...
the sun is getting ready to set over the mountains.

I am thinking...
that I need to go to bed early tonight so I don't catch this cold trying to catch me.

I am thankful for...
Yah's provision and the abundance of healthy food that arrived today from Azure Standard! Now to find space for it all!

From the learning rooms...
Jordan is working on his math, Nathan is organizing loose notebook papers, Dylan is peeling broken crayons for an art project this week and Mali is drawing pictures.

From the kitchen...
rainbow pasta for Mali's Preschool - R is for Rainbow.

I am wearing...
gray lounge pants, and an aqua green long sleeve shirt.

I am creating...
lesson plans and lapbooks.

I am going...
to juice a grapefruit.

I am reading...
Scripture at night (for the next day).  I love reading Scripture before bed because sometimes I dream about what I have read. Last night I listened to Exodus (again) on my iPod because we are reading it as a group on Sabbath. Also, I can turn off the light and not disturb my husband (not that it would though, because he can sleep through anything). I am looking forward to remembering God's feasts this year as they are a shadow of things to come and we want to be a watchful, ready bride adorned and prepared for the groom!

I am hoping...
that Jordan will learn to like math.

I am hearing...
Jordan read a story problem.

Around the house...
I am nursing Elli and helping Jordan with his math as needed, laundry is going upstairs and is probably ready to be rebooted.

One of my favorite things...
a peaceful, clean home.

A few plans for the rest of the week:
praying for Jaci to have her baby!  She was due yesterday and we are all waiting for him or her to get here! And praying that she has a wonderful homebirth!

Here is picture thought I am sharing...

The colors of the hat I am knitting.
